Important Update

Attention Valued Members:

I am sure you have all been following the news closely with regards to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Here at YNCU, we are constantly reviewing the situation and prioritizing the ways we can keep our Members and staff safe. Following the World Health Organization’s declaration of a global pandemic, as well as Ontario’s Premier announcing a “State of Emergency”, we are changing our in-person meeting to a digital one. The health and safety of our Members and staff is too important to us so we are reducing unnecessary exposure during this time of recommended social distancing.

The meeting will be held via a digital conference link on April 14th at 6:00 pm. All members are encouraged to visit to view the meeting and be able to ask questions. Reports will be presented by:

  • John Haines, Board Chair

  • Hilary Anderson, Audit Committee Chair

  • Kerry Hadad, Chief Executive Officer

  • Denise Smith, Partner, MNP (External Auditors)

In addition to the above presenters, Gord Harrison, Chief Financial Officer will be available to answer questions. A full agenda will be included on this page at a later date. The meeting will also be recorded and hosted on our website for future viewing.

To prepare for the digital meeting, click here to read our 2019 Annual Report, including condensed financial statements. If you prefer a printed copy of the Annual Report, please click here to fill out an Annual Report request form. Full financial statements are available upon request, please note in the Annual Report request form if you would like a copy of the full audited financials. Requests for Annual Reports will be available until Friday, April 3rd by 4:00 pm. We will ship all Annual Report requests on Monday, April 6th so members have them in time for the meeting.

While we are saddened to not be able to host our Members in person this year, we are committed to doing our part to keeping our communities safe and healthy.

We look forward to e-hosting you on April 14th. Please stay tuned for further details.

Stay safe and do everything you can to be well!

John Haines

Chairman of the YNCU Board
