YNCU is excited to announce the release of our brand new digital banking experience. Complete with a new, modern website, updated online banking platform and fully upgraded YNCU Mobile app, members will see a faster, more reliable banking experience.

What’s New?

Our new, modern website was designed with members in mind, providing easier navigation and improved responsiveness across all platforms so you can find the information you need, faster. Our goal is to create an accessible browsing experience and provide our users with easy-to-read information about our products and services on whichever device you choose.

To complement our new website, we have given a fresh new look and feel to Online Banking, with updated features, smoother functionality, and security enhancements to make managing your finances online more seamless.

Rounding out our digital banking suite, our long-awaited upgrade to our mobile banking experience makes managing your finances on-the-go easier and faster than ever. Our new app offers a secure, easy-to-use, and convenient way to check account balances, transfer money, deposit cheques, pay bills, and more.

If it’s your first time using our new digital banking suite, we recommend having your member number and personal access code handy when logging into your account for the first time. If you have not updated your YNCU Mobile app, please do so by visiting the Google Play Store or App Store and search “YNCU Mobile” to download the latest version. Our previous YNCU Connect mobile app is no longer supported and an update is required if you wish to continue using this service.

With improved technology powering our digital suite, you’ll see a faster, more seamless banking experience across all platforms. We’ve simplified our navigation, making it easier to access the information you need. Functions you’re used to, like money transfers and bill payments are more reliable, and security enhancements allow you to complete your everyday banking with confidence.


Because has undergone a full redesign, some of your existing bookmarks will no longer be available. Our new website is easier to navigate and a search function is available for your convenience. We encourage you to replace existing bookmarks for future use.


No, you will not experience any changes to your login information for online banking or mobile app. You will continue to use your member number and existing password to access your account information and memorized logins will migrate with the update. Business members will continue to use their small business credentials to complete their banking from a business account.

Have your member number handy and know your Personal Access Code (PAC) to avoid any issues logging in for the first time. If you do not remember your PAC, the PAC reset options will still be available on the newest versions of online banking and the mobile app.


No, there will be no impact to existing bill payees or e-transfer recipients. These details will transition with our online banking and mobile app upgrade and account nicknames will remain on their assigned accounts.


We were unable to retain the chat bot feature when migrating from our former website platform to our new website platform. We are currently exploring new technology for this service function. We apologize for any inconvenience but are really looking forward to delivering a new and innovative solution for this area in the future. 


All members are welcome to browse for information on products and services and book appointments online at any of our 17 branches. However, members from our Northern branches will continue using the Community First website for their online banking or the Community First mobile app. We are working behind the scenes to unify our divisions and will provide notice when YNCU online banking and mobile app is available to you.
