Your New Digital Banking Experience is Almost Here
Get Ready for October 6th
On October 6, 2026, YNCU members will transition to an enhanced digital banking experience featuring updated online banking and a brand-new mobile banking app. Designed with simplicity and convenience in mind, the new experience offers a refreshed look and feel, improved navigation, and a more intuitive way to manage your everyday banking.
A little more time to get ready: We’ve adjusted our digital banking launch date from September 14 to October 6 to allow additional time to put the final pieces in place and ensure we’re ready to deliver the best possible experience for our members. Before launch, there are three important things you need to do to make sure you're ready to access your new digital banking experience for the first time.
3 Things to Do Before October 6th
1. Know your member number
You'll need your YNCU member number when you access the new online banking experience for the first time.
During first-time setup, you'll be prompted to create a new username and password, which you'll use to access online banking going forward.
If you normally use Face ID or another biometric login and don't regularly enter your member number, take a moment now to make sure you know it.
Don't know your member number? Visit your local YNCU branch or contact our Service Excellence Centre at 1-888-413-9628 (YNCU) before October 6th.
2. Know your current Personal Access Code (PAC)
You'll need your current PAC, along with your member number, to begin the first-time setup process.
Once you've completed setup and created your new username and password, you'll use those new credentials to access online banking going forward.
If you normally use Face ID or another biometric login and don't regularly enter your PAC, make sure you know it before October 6th.
Don't know your PAC? Visit your local YNCU branch or contact our Service Excellence Centre at 1-888-413-9628 (YNCU) before launch.
3. Make sure your contact information is up to date
As part of first-time setup, we'll send a one-time verification code to the primary email address or mobile phone number we have on file.
If your contact information isn't current, you may not be able to complete your setup.
Not sure what information we have on file? Visit your local branch or contact our Service Excellence Centre at 1-888-413-9628 (YNCU).
What to Expect on October 6th
When you access the new digital banking experience for the first time, you'll use your member number and current PAC to begin the setup process.
You'll then be guided through the first-time login process, including creating your new username and password and verifying your identity using the contact information we have on file.
We'll provide step-by-step instructions to help guide you through the process.
Using online banking?
You'll continue to access online banking through
yncu.com.
Using mobile banking?
You'll need to download the brand-new YNCU Mobile Banking app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store beginning October 6th. Your current YNCU mobile banking app will no longer work after the transition.
