Our Digital Banking Launch Needs a Little More Time
Our new digital banking experience will now be available October 14th.
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a better way to bank digitally. To make sure we’re delivering the best possible experience, we’re giving ourselves one more week to get everything ready.
Until then, continue banking as you do today. Your current online banking and YNCU Mobile Banking app will remain available.
3 Things to Do Before October 14th
Designed with simplicity and convenience in mind
The new experience offers a refreshed look and feel, improved navigation, and a more intuitive way to manage your everyday banking.
There’s still time to get ready
Before launch, make sure you have the information you’ll need to access your new digital banking experience for the first time.

1. Know your member number
You'll need your YNCU member number when you access the new online banking experience for the first time.
During first-time setup, you'll be prompted to create a new username and password, which you'll use to access online and mobile banking going forward.
If you normally use biometric login and don't regularly enter your member number, take a moment now to make sure you know it.
Don't know your member number? Visit your local YNCU branch or contact our Service Excellence Centre’s dedicated digital banking line at 1-866-942-2328.

2. Know your current Personal Access Code (PAC)
You'll need your current PAC, along with your member number, to begin the first-time setup process.
Once you've completed setup and created your new username and password, you'll use those new credentials to access digital banking going forward.
If you normally use biometric login and don't regularly enter your PAC, make sure you know it before October 14th.
Don't know your PAC? Visit your local YNCU branch or contact our Service Excellence Centre’s dedicated digital banking line at 1-866-942-2328.

3. Make sure your contact information is up to date
As part of first-time setup, we'll send a one-time verification code to the primary email address or mobile phone number we have on file.
If your contact information isn't current, you may not be able to complete your setup.
Not sure what information we have on file? Visit your local YNCU branch or contact our Service Excellence Centre’s dedicated digital banking line at 1-866-942-2328.
What to expect on October 14th
When you access the new digital banking experience for the first time, you'll use your member number and current PAC to begin the setup process.
You'll then be guided through the first-time login process, including creating your new username and password and verifying your identity using the contact information we have on file.
Using online banking?
You'll continue to access online banking through yncu.com.
Using mobile banking?
You'll need to download the brand-new YNCU Mobile Banking app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store beginning October 6th. Your current YNCU mobile banking app will no longer work after the transition.

Commonly asked questions
We’ve moved the launch of our new digital banking experience from September 14 to October 14, 2026, to allow additional time to prepare the platform and supporting environment for launch.
We’re confident the additional time will help us deliver the best possible experience for our members and provide more time to help you prepare for the transition.
When you access the new digital banking experience for the first time, you'll need your member number and current Personal Access Code (PAC) to begin the setup process.
You'll then be prompted to create a new username and password. These will become the credentials you use to access online and mobile banking going forward.
Yes. You can choose to use your member number as your new username, provided it meets the username requirements presented during setup.
You can also choose a different username. You'll be guided through the requirements when you complete your member onboarding.
Don't wait until October 6th. We encourage you to confirm your member number and current PAC before launch so you're ready to complete your member onboarding.
Visit your nearest YNCU branch or contact our Service Excellence Centre’s dedicated digital banking line at 1-866-942-2328 and our team will be happy to help you get ready.
If you normally use Face ID, fingerprint recognition or another saved login method, you may not regularly enter your member number and PAC.
You'll need both to begin the member onboarding process on the new platform, so we encourage you to make sure you know them before October 14th.
If you need assistance, visit your nearest YNCU branch or contact our Service Excellence Centre’s dedicated digital banking line at 1-866-942-2328.
Yes. Biometric login will be available in the new YNCU mobile app.
Because this is a brand-new app, you’ll need to complete the first-time login process using your member number and current Personal Access Code (PAC). Once you’ve successfully logged in, you’ll be able to set up biometric login again on your device.
YNCU will be available to support members following launch. However, the best way to ensure a smooth transition is to prepare in advance.
Before October 14th, make sure you:
✓ Know your member number
✓ Know your current PAC
✓ Have an up-to-date email address or mobile phone number on file with YNCU
If you need help with any of these, we encourage you to contact us before launch.
