To open a non-registered GIC online and follow these steps:

1. Log into Online Banking

2. Select Open a New Account.

3. Select Term Deposits from the options listed.

4. Choose the GIC product or special you would like to open.

   Registered products (TFSA, RRSP, RRIF) need to be opened by one of our branch staff.

5. Complete the online form to complete the account opening.

One tree will be planted for: 1. Every GIC opened during the campaign period, to a maximum of one (1) per member, and 2. Every paper statement that is switched to e-statements, to a maximum of one (1) per member. The number of trees planted is based upon the number of campaign participants up to a maximum of two thousand (2000) trees.
