When there’s a network signal, there’s a way. As long as you can connect to the Internet, you’ll be able to access your accounts. Check your savings, set up direct deposit, send an e-transfer for a highly collectable wizard figurine – we won’t tell you what to do.


Alerts Get real-time email or text alerts about your account activity for added security.
Transfers between accounts This page allows you to transfer funds between your own accounts or to another member number in which you have joint access. Transfers can be performed immediately, at a future date, or on a recurring basis.
Account Summary The Account Summary displays all your account information and activity at a glance, including scheduled bill payments and transfers
Pay Bills Online Pay bills online and schedule recurring payments. 
Manage Cheques Deposit, view and download cheques directly from your online banking portal. You can also manage stop cheques and cheque holds through the site.
E-Statements eStatements are available more quickly than receiving a paper statement in the mail. 
e-Documents View your e-Documents easily and securely by using our e-Documents feature in Online Banking. 
ACCOUNT OPENING Now from the convenience of your home, take advantage of our new Account Opening feature and select the product that’s right for you.
SECURITY In addition to our existing safeguards, including encryption and security questions, we also offer out members extended Personal Access Code (PAC) as an additional layer of security for YNCU online banking users.

Getting Started

Our telephone banking system was designed with security in mind. Using your touch-phone, you can keep track of your finances at your convenience.

You Will Need

  • Your member number
  • A confidential 4-digit member access code or PIN obtained from any branch. (First-time callers will be prompted to change the access code we provided you.)

From a touch-tone phone, dial: 1-866-942-1002

You will be prompted for your Member ID and 4-digit PIN after you have selected an option from the menu below.


You can press * at any time to repeat your choices or # to return to the previous menu. Option 1 has many choices. You can press options 2 through 8 to jump to a specific activity.

Our telephone banking service is free, but there's a nominal charge for bill payments. Ask how you can pay bills for free with one of our convenient service plans!

Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) provide you with access to your accounts using your Member Card® Debit Card. Enjoy 24-hours a day, seven days a week worldwide access to your accounts at over 1,000,000 ATMs displaying the Interac® or Plus® symbols.



Exchange Network Locate thousands of surcharge-free ATMs across Canada and the United States! Use your YNCU Member Card® debit card wherever you see THE EXCHANGE® logo on ATMs across Canada or the Allpoint logo on ATMs across the US.
ACCEL Pos The ACCEL® Point of Sale (POS) debit network in the United States is available to all our members.  The ACCEL® network is one of the largest POS networks in the United States with more than 1,000,000 merchants in the network. The majority of the top 100 U.S. retailers use ACCEL®.
Electronic Bill Payments

The Electronic Bill Payment feature at our ATMs makes paying bills simple. When you select this feature at our ATM, the ATM will now display a list (of up to 30) of your bill payees automatically on screen. Simply select the bill payee you wish to pay.

Mini Statements

Our ATM Mini Statement provides you with the ability to print the last 10 transactions of an account (listed as debits and credits) on a receipt at any YNCU ATM.

Free ATM Access In United States

EXCHANGE cardholders have access to over 40,000 ATMs, surcharge-free, at prime retail locations in the United States on the Allpoint Network, the largest surcharge-free ATM Network in the United States.

Locating the Allpoint ATMs is made simple using THE EXCHANGE Network ATM Locator mobile app, which has been updated with all of the new locations and can be downloaded for iOS and Android devices on the App Store and Google Play Store. When using a desktop computer, cardholders can visit the Find An ATM Page of THE EXCHANGE Network website to access the ATM listing as well.


Member Card

We are committed to making debit card services as easy and as secure as possible.

Your Member Card® Debit Card offers you the option of paying for goods and services at over 410,000 participating merchant locations across Canada using Interac® Direct Payment instead of carrying cash.

To get started, just call or visit us in branch to obtain your Member Card Debit Card and select your PIN.

Our qualified staff will be more than pleased to assist you, and answer any questions you may have.


You're protected every time you use your Member Card® Debit Card to make a purchase against lost, theft, damage or breakage for a full 90 days after the purchase. You will also enjoy the security of an Extended Warranty, which can double the manufacturer's warranty up to two years longer. And best of all, there are no forms to fill out, no applications, and no extra cost!

How does the program work?

It’s simple. Every time you use the Member Card Debit Card for an Interac® Direct Payment purchase, you are protected with the following benefits:


Buyer Protection This coverage offers protection on the purchase of most retail items for a full 90 days after the purchase, if the item is stolen, dropped and broken, or even consumed in a fire. Valid claims will be satisfied either by replacing the lost or damaged item, or by a cash payment in an amount not to exceed the amount of the total purchase price.
Extended Warranty

The program doubles the warranty period of a purchased item up to two entire year,s as long as the manufacturer’s warranty is valid in Canada for five years or less.


Chequing Accounts

If you’re shopping at a merchant who doesn’t offer Interac Direct Payment, you can make a purchase using a cheque drawn on your insured YNCU account, and receive the same protection for your purchase.

What's not Covered?

Items not covered include: cash, travellers cheques, motorized vehicles, animals, and living plants. More information regarding coverage plans is available at our branches.

Important information you need to know before you leave home with your Member Card debit card.

What is Country Blocking?

Country Blocking is the process where credit unions block the use of your debit card in certain locations outside of Canada in order to prevent fraudulent activity and to protect the money in your account. This includes the United States.

How do I ensure access to my Member Card when travelling?

If you're planning to travel anywhere except within Canada with your Member Card debit card, you must notify us at least two business days in advance. We can UNBLOCK your card before you go, at your request. This includes travel to the United States.
